What can I expect to pay?
There as many answers to this question as there are cases. Please call us about our rates. Be aware, that in most situations, we can provide some level of service that may assist you and your case. What do I get for my money?
We will work diligently to obtain the information that you need to assist in your case or particular situation. Our results are forwarded to you in memorandum or report format during and at the conclusion of the investigation as needed. Reports include the sources we checked, and the results of the research.

 

Your investigation will be conducted by licensed and insured investigators with years of combined experience, each with individual skills and specialties.

What does a background search include?
Depending on the nature of your case, it could include any specific records or research you desire. Generally, it is better to allow us, with information and suggestions provided by you, to determine which records to search, or which investigative options suit your needs. Our investigative reach spans the nation in this regard. Depending on the specifics of your case, a background search can take a few days or weeks to complete.

What records are available?

Generally, most records maintained by a government agency are available to us. This includes court records, regulatory agency records and discipline files (many professions are exempt or are attempting to exempt themselves from this access). In most cases, motor vehicle records, including ownership, are available as well. In some cases, research is conducted through private companies who sell information.

What else can you do besides obtain records?
If needed, we can identify potential witnesses and conduct interviews to obtain additional information. We can perform surveillance to determine an individual's abilities, habits, place of employment or residence.

I need to identify assets, do you do that?

We do perform asset searches to identify ownership in real property, motor vehicles, corporations or businesses, etc. We will also search bankruptcy courts and public records to garner additional information regarding the financial wherewithal of the subject. Depending on the nature of your case, and the location of the assets, the turn around time for asset investigations vary.

How does surveillance work? Is it expensive?

We perform surveillance for certain attorney, workers comp and insurance company clients. Generally, we do not follow spouses to determine their extra-marital activities (some rare exceptions are made, especially if it involves a court case. Please call us for an evaluation). Our surveillance technique is to watch for activity for 1 to 4 hours at a time, after conducting research to determine when and where is the best place to do so. Generally, we perform surveillance over the course of a few weeks to a few months.

 

We charge a slightly higher hourly rate for surveillance, as it is a more difficult assignment which requires additional investigative skills. We can work within your budget, although realize that 10-12 hours is normally the minimum time required to perform a basic surveillance investigation.

Do I qualify as a client?

For the most part, our services are provided only to attorneys, government agencies, insurance companies and businesses. Depending on the type of investigation, we are available to work for members of the general public. Please call us to discuss your specific needs. If we cannot help you we can normally refer you to another professional investigator who can.
